In 1999, Yuji Sakai sculpted a new version of Godzilla for the 1999 movie "Godzilla 2000: Millennium;" after consulting with the director and staff, he sculpted a slightly different version, which is now available to fans everywhere as this amazing display figure from X Plus! This version of The Big G features gills protruding from the head to the shoulders, an unprecedented number of dorsal fins, and catlike teeth. The sharp body shape and small head contribute to his fierce appearance, and the vivid blue dorsal fins and the reddish skin seen inside his gills had never been seen on Godzilla before.
